Yes! I just started taking a probiotic with acidophilus. I take the BIO-K+ soy yogurt probiotic.

The only thing you have to be careful is of dairy. Don't get a dairy yogurt with acidophilus. This is not safe for IBS.

I'll let you know how I do with the probiotics, but I just started yesterday so nothing to report yet.

Can you tell us why dairy yogurt w/acidophillus is not good for IBS-D? Im on the Jarrow EPS. it has 4.4 billion organisms from many strains including acidophillus.

Dairy is an IBS trigger. If you take a milk-based yogurt with acidophilus, you may have more problems from the dairy than help from the acidophilus. There is no reason that you need to have dairy in order to get a good probiotic.

The Jarrow is capsules I believe? That should be just fine. Have you noticed any improvements?

Sorry, everyone, I should have clarified it better.
I'm not going to try to take it with dairy products -
plan on trying the capsule method.
Thanks for your input.
