Are there any brand of melatonin pills that is IBS friendly ??? I need to eat melatonin for my sleep but the kind I have really destroy my stomach, gives me strong abdominal pain, sometimes d and bloating.
I suspect they contain lactose or traces of sesame or peanut oil to which I am very allergic/very sensitive (gives strong abdominal pain), or maybe some other IBS unfriendly substance. I am really desperate about this. / Eri

you could try calms forte? it is a homeopathic sleep aid, non habit forming. Most of the melatonins i have seen have either lactose or sucrose in it when its sublingual, the swallow kinds in a capsule should free of additives they will just take about 30 min to kick in.

it truly is an insignificant amount, the parts per amount is low, unless someone has a true milk allergy it is unlikely it would effect you, but i understand reluctance to try, but i have seen so many people with good results from it. Just info, up to the individual of course.,

I actually emailed the company that makes Calm Forte and it is very true that the amount of lactose is very insignificant. I do use them now and then and they do not bother me.
