For those of us who don't like the licorice taste in the Fennel Tea

Hi all, I did some experimenting with the Fennel Tea this weekend. I do not like the licorice flavor. Yuck!! I tried mixing it with other teas and found that you can add either an orange flavored tea or just squeeze an orange into the tea and it helps break down the licorice flavor. Yipee! Blackberry, Sage tea works, as well but, the flavor is not as appealing as the orange. A cinnamin stick helps with the flavor a bit too. Lemon flavored tea gives it a spicy tart flavor.

That sounds good! I'll have to try it. I usually like to mix it with peppermint tea, but I never thought of those other flavors.

Those sound like good options. You can also do a Board Search for:
hate fennel
with no time limit and find some other things to mix it with. I sometimes wonder if *anyone* really likes the taste.

oh, the cinnamon stick or lemon tea sounds great... I like the taste of fennel tea...but always up for trying new things too!
