Anyone ever hear of Reed's Ginger Beer? My mom swears it really helps calm the stomach. I might give it a try, but was wondering if anyone else had. (tried to do a search, but it didn't come up with anything)

All of the Ginger brews except Reed's Premium Ginger Brew contained fruit juice, fructose and/or honey. The premium brew just contains honey. If you have problems with HFCS then you may experience problems with this Reed's Ginger brews too.

It is claimed as a no-no. However, I have no trouble when I drink sparkling water.

I don't have trouble with sparkling water or flavored seltzers, either, as long as I drink them in moderation. I've had the Reed's and also had no noticeable trouble with it.

I can't handle carbonated drinks at all. Maybe it depends how sensitive you are to gas and how having gas may affect your other symptoms.

If I let carbonated water go flat, I find I'm ok with it.

Personally, I find the honey flavor in the Reed's products to be cloyingly sweet.
