Hi, My name is Beth and I am a food addict! :-D

I would really like to attempt to cut all of the addictive foods out of my diet, but am a bit scared of how my tummy will react. I'm hopeful that someone here can give me suggestions.

Addictive foods include all sugars, both real and sugar substitutes, all flours and all wheat products. I'm a bit afraid that the remaining foods are too full of insoluble fiber to be safe for me.

The meat, fruit and veggies I know well enough to deal with, but I'm a bit scared of the grains list:

Barley, brown rice and brown basmati rice, buckwheat, oat bran, oatmeal, millet, quinoa, rye, steel cut oats, teff and whole oats.

Does anyone know how these might work with an IBS tummy?

Food for thought: the only kind I can digest.
