hi - can anyone help me with this? - i have IBS-D and really bad acid problems - I am on Protinix (Somac here in New Zealand) and I manage the acid with apple cider vinegar and dietary things - I think i read somewhere that peppermint tea causes acid - I think I also read that chamomile tea causes acid - can anyone enlighten me? - these two things are supposed to help a stomach, but I'm pretty sure, as an acid sufferer, I'm supposed to stay way from them - is this true?
sincerely, natasha

I can't help you with the chamomile, but peppermint definitely aggravates acid reflux.

peppermint definitely makes acid reflux worse. I cannot have it. I drink fennel tea to soothe my stomach. I can't help you with the cammomile, I have never tried it, can't say for sure.
