Hey guys! I found a new website where I can get a bunch of stuff here in Japan.
Trouble is - I don't know what to look for.
I've found soy milk and oatmeal but what else...? I've found bagel chips but are all kinds safe? So gimme any brands you can come up with!!! I need info and ideas!!
Here's what I'd like you to do: post as many IBS friendly foods that you've come to love. (Don't forget the brand name and the flavour) ANYTHING! (snacks, condiments, mixes, etc)

Kim - bagel chips should be safe because they usually don't have any added fat in the dough. I checked in the bread cookbooks and they're made with water and no added fat. Just watchh out for egg bagels. As the name suggests, it contains eggs. Also watch out for whole wheat and any with seeds on them. I'd stick to the sweeter ones like cinnamon. If you can tolerate the fruits, there's raisin, blueberry, strawberry, etc.

Hi there!
The suggestions everyone have given you so far have been great! The only thing I have to add is peppermint tea (my favorite is made by a brand called Stash--not sure if you can get that in Japan!) Good luck--keep us posted!!!

SharShar - You don't have to live without chocolate. Do a "search" on "chocolate" with no time restrictions on all forums and read what you find. I've been making desserts with cocoa powder and mixed with all the other ingredients, it's just as good as any chocolate.
I'm posting this because of your little "ditty" at the bottom on your post.!
