Hello everybody
It's been more than a year since I've posted a message on this site and I'm doing quite fine living the IBS life. For those of you who don't remember me I first got diagnosed with IBS in the summer of 2005 and when I first got on this site, I was in a major crisis having D everyday. Then I discover Heather's diet and the good people on this web site. After a few months of experimenting with the diet, I have taken back control of my bowel by following the SF/IF/Triggers mantra. I still have some D-attacks, but very rarely and when I do, I know it's because I have cheated and/or stress. (I still get away with a glass of wine from time to time, this summer I was in France and I had two glasses of wine everyday for three weeks without any effects!) And I know how to immediatly regain control. So, thanks to the good people on this site and here's my favorite safe product:
Bonne Maman Chesnut spread (chesnuts, vanilla, sugar) So yummy in the morning... Pure maple Butter (no milk in this!) Belsoy caramel pudding All variations of fruit muffins made with Heather's Imagination's organic soups (totally IBS friendly)
Cheecha Krackles Regular Potatoe flavor: A company from Calgary that makes chips with pure potatoe, nothing else! It's so good and crispy, they taste like cheese without any! It's just potatoe blown with hot air! 0% of fat! http://www.cheecha.ca/index.html
The John Russell Company Chocolate honey A small Manitoba company that does this wonderful product made with pure honey and cocoa, nothing else! And they got many other IBS friendly flavors! http://www.honeyb.ca/index.html
To all of you who are suffering from IBS, hang on, there IS HOPE!

Cheecha Krackles sound like the snack I have been looking for. Are they available from a chain grocery store? Or do you have to get them from the company?
[PS - I live in Saskatoon]

When I was living in Winnipeg, I used to find them at any Shopper's Drug Mart. You can order from the Liv-Well web site, a BC distributor (but you have to pay for delivery!).
