Milk--Vitamin D, low fat, non-fat, skim--sends my guts into a tizzy, but for some reason I can eat cheese with no adverse effects.

Has anyone else experienced this?

In the UK, they have crackers called 'digestives'. Is there an equivalent here in the colonies? Thanks.

cheese, especially hard cheese like cheddar have very little lactose in them, which may be why it doesn't bother you as much, you should still try and avoid it though, as for years i new i couldn't have milk or ice cream but cheese in small amounts seemed ok, but i felt waaay better once i cut the dairy totally out of my diet, since i didn't have immediate attacks from cheese, just lingering gas bloating general issues that used to seem unrelated.digestives are available all over, but they are really just a cookie, a better bet would be arrowroot or baby cookies as they aren't made with all the fat and oil
