I received an e-mail today from a list I'm on that reviews new low-fat products. They reccomended a new Kashi cereal which is called "Kashi Vive - Probiotic Digestive Wellness Cereal". Here are the stats on it: 1.25 cups= 170 calories, 2.5g fat, 100mg sodium, 43g carbs, 12g fiber, 10g sugars, 4g protein = 3 Points.
I'm wondering: has anyone tried this? Do you think it's safe? I'm thinking perhaps the fiber count is too high. It also contains pro-biotics, which you can simply get as a supplement. That and the fiber are the two main selling points. I would appreciate any of your suggestions. Thanks. BTW-here's the link for more info http://www.kashi.com/ourfood/Vive/default.aspx

its got 11g of IF per serving, tread carefully, personally it has far too many ingredients for my taste, i like simple.

It contains dry milk...so I wouldn't think it would be safe just for that fact alone.

Thanks you all-I didn't read it that closely. I think that stuff is definitely to be avoided. Isn't it sad that they advert it as being "good" for digestion? That's almost like false advertising!
