I plan on going back to work shortly, which is scary as you can imagine. What do you have the best results with when you have to eat at work? I don't want to get fired for spending all my time in the bathroom

I don't go anywhere (especially 12 hours at work) without taking safe foods to snack on, and Imodium. And teas. I have found that I get along better at work (or anywhere) if I munch on safe foods throughout the day, and keep something in my system.
Pretzels, sourdough bread, carrots, bananas, turkey, chicken and ginger, peppermint, or fennel teas get me through the days.
Lately I have been baking and taking into work Heather's Brown Sugar Banana bread. Everyone just loves it, and it so easy on my system.

Thanks, those all sound like great ideas. And I'll bet many of us take our Imodium with us everywhere, I know I do!

I usually bring a safe sandwhich like turkey breast on white bread. I also bring lots of safe snacks to munch on throughout the day so my tummy is never empty. I drink room temp bottled water. Most of the time it is sandwhiches for me, the odd time I will bring leftover dinner, like chicken breast and rice. I also cook baby carrots and then chill them to eat them like a snack after my sandewhich. They don't hurt my stomach that way and actually taste sweeter.

Ditto on the frequent snacking. I usually bring rice crackers, Arrowroots or Nice cookies and fruitsations to eat in between meals. Lunch is usually soup and a white roll from the Tim Horton's across the street or a chicken/turkey/tuna sandwich.

Just curious Betharoo, why room temp water? Does ice water make you sick?

I ALWAYS have loaves of Heather's breads (banana, zucchini, pumpkin apple spice, etc) in the freezer. I take a slice every day for my morning snack. Every weekend, I make a few batches of Heather's honey glazed snack mix - I graze on it all day long! I also make the lemon rice pudding every weekend - but without the lemon. I'm not a huge fan of lemon, so I add vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, cardamom, cloves, etc. instead. Those are my snack staples every day at work!
