Has anyone tried the IBS product made by Directive Advantage that you can purchase at the grocery or pharmacy? I'm wondering what's diffferent about it from probiotic acidopilous and if it really works.

I bought that in the store a few months ago, but I haven't tried it yet. Some people on the board here says it works great for them, while others say that it didn't do anything for them. It works differently on everyone. Hope this helps!

Specifically what did your doctor say is wrong with it? It looks like it contains lactobacillus (which is good) and an amino acid called lysine. Many reviews on line show it helped.

This just proves that no one really knows if it works or not. For one person, it might work great, but for the next person, it might give them trouble.
