Okay..

I used to post on here ALL the time about a year ago--
Then i started Weight Watchers and my IBS went away COMPLETELY for about a year or more...

recently (two weeks or so) I've been feeling really sick, but different than how my IBS used to be.
Extreme attacks of D and lots of gas...just awful stomach pains and its bascially constant.
I even went to the ER last night because I was at work and though I was going to pass out and the pain was so severe. trust me- I'm not whining and I KNOW how bad I used to be.

My stomach disextended SO much..it was rock solid and people (even a customer) asked if I was pregnant. I looked like 5 months pregnant! It was unlike any other time.

The bloodwork came back fine(of course) and my family doctor wants me tosee a GI and an Gyno.

Today:
Waffles (no syrup or anything), Banana, LLUNA Bar and a Turkey SW

THats all stuff that never made me sick..literally EVERYTHING is making me sick and gasey...im wondering what else it could be... not IBS? something else?

Can someone please help...and offer advice.

Thanks-Kelly

Any change - especially this one severe should be checked by a Doctor. Yes, it is true that IBS comes and goes, and this could just be a very bad flareup, but this is so severe, I would make sure they're thorough to make sure it's not something else. Check the first page of the website - there's a list of other things that mimic IBS and ALL should be ruled out.
Hugs. I hope you feel better soon.
Go on the breaking the cycle diet for a few days, and drink a TON of very strong, hot peppermint tea throughout the day.

could be diverticulitis, needs treatment , but not serious in the long run, my mom had an attack of it a few months ago. ask the doc about it.
