I am calling on all who have had the breath test done for some info. I go in next week for that test, but on my prepartion instructions it states not to use fiber substitutes for at least two days before the test. Does this include the acaia and fennel capsules I am taking? HELP!!!

I haven't had the breath test, but the acacia is a fiber supplement so I would assume that is what the instructions mean. The fennel capsules should be fine to take.
Good luck,
Kat

Which breath test? What other things are you not suppose to eat?

I'm having the breath test next week as well. My sheet was pretty specific about not having "fiber" the day before, but they definitely meant IF. It said to eat chicken and rice. So, I'm thinking that acacia might be ok, since it is SF like the rice. I'm planning on continuing to use it (I'm also going out of town next week and refuse to let this test ruin my one vacation of the year ).

Anyone else have ideas?
