I have done a search and am unable to locate a post I remember. It involved how to take acaica on vacation. I buy it in the pouch and empty it in a canister at home. I going on a cruise and will have to go through customs. Acacia looks kind of fishy if its not in a package. Any ideas on where this post could be? Or any ideas period?

I generally bring the canister along. Before I had that, I brought along a half-filled pouch in a gallon ziploc bag. No problems so far....

My canister is glass, so its heavy. But I'm sure I can find some plastic container. I just don't want to get stuck in customs explaining my irritable bowel problem. If you haven't had any trouble though, maybe it won't be a big deal.

I think she meant that she brings along the canister that Heather sells. Maybe you should pick up one of those. That's what I use for travel, too. I just buy pouches to refill it.

I brought the full bag of Acacia in a ziploc freezer bag (one with a tab that slides across). I never threw out the Acacia bag since I wanted it incase of customs problems. It worked well, never leaked out of the ziploc.
Hope that helps,
Kat

I'm not totally sure what color the stuff is but i'm sure if you happen to keep the actual packaging (just incase) somewhere you should be fine.. I mean it's not like it happens to smell like something that could be.. contraban? right??
