This has been posted about before but it's been a year or two and I just discovered it so:

Tofutti Vanilla Almond Bark Premium Frozen Dessert

This is stuff is fabulous. The Vanilla "ice cream" part is so vanilla-y and the little chocolate/almond "bark" pieces are yummy. It does not contain any dairy, although it does contain carrageenan (in 13th place) and HFCS (in fourth place behind water, sugar, and corn oil, so not too much I would think).

It gets 52% of calories from fat, so just a little (yeah, right) and after a low-fat, high SF meal.

I must be the only person in the IBS universe who can't eat Tofutti. I don't know why, either. I eat things that are higher in fat with no problems. I have no issues with soy. I have no food allergies or anything like that. But I eat a Tofutti Cutie, and bam! - toilet time!

But that flavor sounds good - I just might have to hunt down some almond bark, and make some of my own (hooray for the ice-cream maker!). Yum.

I wonder why in the world tofutti cuties dont agree with you?? Me, on the other hand, I can eat three tofutti cuties in a row without any problem, but I cant drink a whole glass of soymilk. I can have soy milk in cereal and mixed in with other recipes, but I just cant handle one glass by itself.. weird, huh?
Anyway, have you ever tried Tofutti's soy sour cream or soy cream cheese? They are delicis, low in fat and agree with me 100%.

I've never tried the cream cheese and all that, because I've just not had any cravings for the stuff... besides which, I have to drive an hour to Bangor to be able to get the cream cheese or the ice creams. I haven't seen the sour cream up here at all. Ah, the joys of living in the boonies!

I really have no idea why the cuties don't agree with me - most people can handle them fine, I'm just a weirdo!

That sounds yummy! Better Pecan is pretty good too.

Another good one is...shoot. I can't remember the name. It's a Celestial Seasons variety. It's vanilla rice cream with chocolate covered hazel nuts other chocolatey bits in it. Really good, and I don't usually like rice cream.

really? i've tried two flavors of celestial seasonings (peach & green tea), and find they both taste like play-doh. maybe the chocolate flavors are better? i'm a big fan of soy delicious. especially the richer pints. mmm chocolate obsession.
