Kate,
Thanks so much for the advice on the protein supplement. I will definitely take this with me to Whole Foods, literally. I really like the idea of a sort of shake like this first thing in the morning. I tend not to eat breakfast while my digestive tract settles down and I know this isn't good. But other options tend to make me worse. I think this could work! I'm actually excited!

Thanks so much for all your help.

What a great list! Thank you so much. My husband is also lactose intolerant, so this will help tremendously.

Mine is too... he's Italian, grew up in Boston (North Shore). Lots of folks of southern European, Mediterranean and African descent are.

I have kind of an odd question...My GI wants me to drink Ensure the day before my colonoscopy...Is that going to be safe for me? Or is D the whole point of the prep day?

we have found all the hidden words that mean DAIRY through trial and error and thanks to the dietician.
good luck
julie
