Fibercon pills

I recently bought these Fibercon pills to take when I'm out at restaurants. I usually take Acacia Fiber, which I've had good results with, but for some reason the Fibercon pills give me pain. I've only taken them twice, but both times I took it, I started getting a pain in my lower right pelvic area. This in turn, triggered the beginning of a panic attack. Thank God I listened to the Hypno CD or I may have really freaked out. Does anyone else have problems with Fiber pills? Is it the brand or is it the fact that it is in pill form and not powder?

Maybe it's the added ingredients? I've had problems with some fiber products because of the unnessary ingredients.

You know, I don't get great results from Fibercon pills, either. I can get away with them, but they have definitely given me loose BMs on occasion. They are the only pill form of SF I've ever tried, so I don't know if there is something else that works better.
I guess Equalactin is an expensive alternative, but an alternative nonetheless.
