i get this a lot where it's extremely painful and annoying. not sure if it's because my stomach has gone through a violent spasm, but it does seem to affect me when i urinate. not quite sure, but i denoted it to be anything but serious. is there anyway i can sort of treat the inflammation?

There shouldn't be any inflammation with IBS. Do you know that there is some? Or is more that it is just seriously irritated?

it's more of a burning, irriated feeling, like razor blades are swimming around down there.

Could be you have a urinary tract infection. Your comment of burning, irratiation and razor blades sounded familiar.

You should get it checked out....

I can relate. This symptom has tricked me every single time. It took me directly to the GYN thinking it was a urinary infection, but never was. The only time I felt like this was if I was having IBS symptoms. My GYN told me that with colon spasms the Colon/Uterus and Bladder sit on top of each other and can be painful.
