I believe they have dairy and all sorts of artificial stuff, so that would be a NO. What about an enriched soy drink instead? I haven't tried them, but I Silk makes some if I recall.

If you have time you could make your own smoothies as well.

Yeah, I think there are all sorts of soy drinks now that come in single serving containers too. I like an enriched rice milk better than soy, but the soy would have protein to make it more of a meal. -Becca

There is a soy slim fast. But again the artificial sweeteners are nothing but bad.

I haven't looked at a container of Slim Fast in a long time, like six or more years ago... and back then I wanted to use them also as a snack or meal substitute, but the ingredients contained dairy, at least the ones I found. To be honest, I haven't looked at a Slim Fast can since, so I'm not sure if they've changed.

Glucerna is also a possibility, and is lactose-free. I been drinking these oaccasionally as snacks or in addition to a meal. They are created for diabetics to help control blood sugar and are pretty costly, though, so I can't really afford them that often. My fave flavor is Butter Peacan.

Have you tried Ensure? They're mostly dairy-free. I have a lot of trouble w/dairy, but my GI told me to drink that the day before my colonoscopy. I was worried about the effects dairy would have, so I looked up their website. It says it contains dairy but it's not listed on the ingredients, so usually that means there's not a lot of dairy in it. I've had other products that say the same thing & they haven't affected me. I would be careful with it, but it's something to try. Just a suggestion!
