I was having chronic abdominal pain for a year and a half without apparent links to anything--and lately it was getting worse and bloating had become really visible. Either way, now that I have found out I have IBS, I've all ready begun the changes in diet and since I have, it has helped a lot. I'm 18 & living in Canada at the moment and sometimes it's frustrating because this pain gets in the way of so many things, and sometimes people don't really comprehend what it is exactly. And food now, well, is so not appealing. That's why I joined the board. Instead of grabbing a tub of ice cream to cheer up, I might as well post something and save myself from pain.
