When you get a proper good night's sleep, your nervous system regenerates better, so you may be less prone to other stressors that in turn affect your IBS.

My symptoms are largely effected by sleep. The less sleep I get, the worse my symptoms. When I get a solid night's rest my gut is much calmer.

ive been having such bad sleep patterns for sucha long time now. usually only grabbing 5-6 hours of sleep. its been crazy b/c im working 2 jobs but there's other priorities that override my bedtime unfortunately. although i plan to start sleeping more normally--just wanted some feedback, thanks!!

I'm backwards...I won't sleep well when I'm not feeling well physically from the IBS. Otherwise I sleep just fine.

Not getting a good night's sleep *will* give me a nasty attack. I make getting a full 8 hours one of my highest priorities! Doing hypno before going to bed is guaranteed to give me a blissful night's sleep....
