I am IBS-D, but take Lotronex to control the D. However, I am ALWAYS dealing with bloating. My belly has expanded up to six inches before (measured before then after eating)...grrr!! Does this way of eating help control the bloating? I haven't seen much about this issue on the BB.

i remember when this ibs all started for me...the "c", bloating, paing, gas...you know ~ this diet totally helped w/everything...plus i'm on zelnorm. i've been on it for 3 months now going off. also, i take fennel pills and drink chamomile tea all day. that helps too. i hated the bloating. i looked pregnant and wasn't...i'm not a very big person, so you could really see the bloat. Yuck!!

I know what you mean about looking pregnant! I HATE all the bloating and the pain that goes along with it! I'm going to order the fennel this week. Thanks for the replies
