have a question about bloating symptom

does anybody that has a problem with bloating and gas, feel short of breath with the bloating...I have anxiety too and i know its part of my problem, but i also notice it feels like when Im bloated I feel smothery, but if I push down on my tummy it helps...Im going to talk to my dr because also when i take a xanax it goes away to a degree

You're definitely not alone on this one! If I eat just a little too much (or sometimes just eating), my abdominal area becomes very bloated, and I feel like I can't breath deeply. This symptoms in itself actually CAUSES me anxiety, not the other way around. I push on my stomach a bit after eating, which seems to makes me breath and feel better.
Sorry I'm not much help, but I still haven't found anything that relieves this.
What is Xanax for anyway?
