Just on a whim, I used this when having severe abdominal pains the other night and it actually helped quite a bit. I haven't tried it twice, so I don't know exactly how effective this really is.
Has anyone else had any luck with this?

This is the only medicine that I'll take for a cold. It does help with the IBS symptoms, probably because it does dry one out, and it does contain a pain reliever. I'm guessing that it indirectly helps. I wouldn't take it just for the IBS, though. I have found that using any type of medicine (except ibuprofen and immodium) for a prolonged period will make the IBS flare up in one way or another.

It seemed pretty effective, so I am thinking of only taking during a bad episode, when there's no only relief, because I haven't found anything else that really works.
