I have an attack everytime I eat sushi. I can't figure it out. I think I must be allergic to soy sauce..it's the only thing I can figure. What is a good substitute for soy sauce - everything seems so bland without! HELP!

Have you tried having just some soy sauce to see if it is the problem? Might not sound appetizing but if it's the only thing you have and still have a reaction, you'll know it's the cause.

It could be the soy sauce. I know I can't have any. It took quite a while for me to figure that out. If you are sensitive to MSG this could be a hidden trigger. I would do some experimenting before giving it up, but it is possible that it's the culprit. I can't have anything with any type of soy.

Perhaps you are triggered by the seaweed? It is high in IF.
