I went to my new GI doctor today and he seemed to know more about bowel diseases and IBS then my last doctor. I told him that I started getting stomach pains a month after I had brochitis and had to take antibiotics, so he put me on Xifaxan, which kills off all the bad bacteria in the digestive tract. He seems like a decent doctor so far, though.
