Could this be contributing/causing my IBS? I suffer mainly from trapped wind and gas and slight cramping. I eat a high fibre diet. Have ordered a probiotic and a prebiotic to see if this helps. I experience it over my right hip (started out on the left side but migrated). I was just about recovered when I had to take another antibiotic for a urinary tract infection and once again I have the gassy sticking feelings over my hip and sometimes down my lower back over the buttock area. This is not fun and I saw a gastrointestinal physician who told me to go off all meds and take it easy. I'm lactose intolerant now as well (from the meds). I just wanted you to know you are not alone. It's really screwing up my system even more, because I'm getting even worse symptoms now. I've currently just started taking a probiotic, which really helps for pain, but unfortunately I'm getting bad bloating and C (supposedly the bloating goes away in 2 weeks).
