Hello all
I haven't posted much on this board, but love all of the advice and information that I have found here. I am hoping that someone can help me figure out what my doctors can't! I actually have an annoying symptom that I can't quite figure out the cause...in particular, in the morning and at night, I have a distended feeling in certain areas of my abdomen. This distended feeling seems like it is limited to a certain section of my intestines (almost like I could put my hand around a certain section of my intestine and grab it). If I push on that section of my intestines, it is hard and will move around. If I push it around enough it will move on to another part of my intestine or dissipate. I am guessing that it is gas stuck in one small section of my intestines (why does it stay in a small section of my intestine?)...but no one else I have talked to really has this symptom, they have more of an overall bowel distention. Do any of you have this particular problem? If so, have you ever found an answer to it? Thanks and happy mothers day to all moms out there!
Danielle

I've recently noticed that as well. I have NO idea what it is, but I generally chalk it up to being bloated/distended. It's the "moveable gas" that I had described in an earlier post.

I haven't found any real relief, I just find that it comes and goes. I can be bloated with it or without it.
