Could not drinking enough water or liquids while taking the tummy fiber cause really bad bloating and gas? Help!

I'm not sure if not drinking enough water will make you gassy and bloat, but I do know if you take too much fiber at once, without steadily increasing, that bloating and gas are side effects. Hope this helps!

I am not sure how it would contribute to bloating and gas but you need to be careful and make sure you are getting enough fluids and water when taking any fiber supplement.

Well, I am trying more water and that does seem to help a little. Perhaps I'll cut back on the tummy fiber. I am taking 2 tsp twice a day. I think I'll try only one twice a day.

You should be starting out with either 1/4 tsp. or 1/2 tsp. two times a day, then every few days or every week increase it by another 1/4 or 1/2 tsp.
