I am currently taking 22 grams of soluble fiber supplements (primarily Acacia). I take it in 3 doses: 1 in the morning, one in my water during the day, and one in the evening. I drink about 6, 8 ounce glasses of water per day. I experience a lot of problems with gas (and some bloating). I started taking the Peppermint oil capsules, but it says to take with only a little water.

How can I balance out the need for lots of water with the Acacia, and only a "little" with the Peppermint Oil capsules?

Thank you.

Hello Cheesehead , You're taking way too much SFS in all
likelihood. That's what's causing your gas problems. Try
cutting it back to between 10 and 15 grams. Welcome to the
boards too. -Bob

I agree with Bob. If you're just starting the Acacia, you should only be taking about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon to start, then gradually work your way up.
