I AM Sensitive to Fructose!!!

High Fructose Corn Syrup is EVIL! I was drinking this grape juice and I got a very painful IBS attack, which I never got from juice before. The next day, I was in agony, trying to get relief, but nothing worked! Uggg! It was sooo painful! I never want to set my eyes on fructose again!

IBSers are actually suppose to stay away from HFCS because it's a trigger for many, and it's not good for normal people either.

My doctor said to stay away from high fructose corn syrup - it agravates IBS - and I have since found that many foods - especially juices - contain it. I always have cranberry juice for breakfast (to ward off bladder problems), and found that all the Ocean Spray cranberry varieties contain high fructose corn syrup, so I no longer buy that brand, and am now reading labels even more carefully than ever before!

Ick. HFCS is in a LOT of foods, and it's horrible for you. I'm trying to avoid it wherever possible, and I'm encouraging friends and family to do the same.
