I searched on "fennel allergy" without quotes. I didn't read very much, but it seems like a cross-reaction with fennel is more common than an actual allergy to the fennel. http://allergies.about.com/cs/oas/a/aa052499.htm# I see you've posted a number of questions about the fennel tea. I wouldn't think that the fennel would make you bloated, as most people have success with it reducing gas and bloat. Are you drinking more than usual? Is your body just adjusting to the extra fluid intake? What else have you been eating/drinking over the past few days? Anything else that could contribute? To get over the taste, I would recommend trying it when it's cooled and also mixing it with another tea, such as peppermint. I'll read over the material you linked to. Perhaps the bloating is just from it being new to my system. I also have eaten a sandwich the past couple of days for lunch and that could also be the culprit. I did mix the fennel tea with an orange tea today and that didn't help any, nor did adding sugar.
