Baby food

So, I was noticing how a lot of people puree their veggies. Makes sense. That got me to thinking....can I just eat baby food? I am allergic to some veggies, especially when they're not cooked, but I was thinking that the baby food might be cooked, so I'd be OK. I don't have any kids, so I'm not real familiar with baby food. Any thoughts? Thanks!
