I made a great discovery - while at Mom's last weekend, my colon spasm was really giving me a hard time and I was trying to rub it out like you would a muscle cramp. She got the idea for me to try her hand held massager! It's an electric thing with a massaging end, really gets down into the muscle. Holy Cow! It really felt GREAT - put it right on the spot where it hurt (for me, on left side just below rib cage)and made myself relax, I could feel it "letting go". She said it's probably not all that different than a crick in your neck, so why not try it? Anyway, wanted to pass that on!

I know when I'm having menstrual cramps, I get my friends to rub my tummy and it makes it feel a whole lot better.
