Does any one use lactulose on as well as a fibre supplement on a regular basis?

Because of on and off constipation my doctor tells me to use if necessary on a regular basis as well as my Metamucil

My problem is constipation caused by diverticulosis and a redundant colon.

I don't, but my mom does. She has a bad liver. She's been on it for a couple years. I've tried it & it works. If your doc said to take it, I would. If you run into problems, let him know. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I have taken it before with only minor indigestion but it is not a quick fix so to speak. It works similar to fibre supplement re taking water as I understand but does not have fibre.

Yeah I know it's not a quick fix, I remember when I took it on a Wed. It didn't kick in till that Sat.! But I think once your systems gets used to it, it'll work wonders for getting you back to normal.
