I want to start taking probiotics. I used to get colonics done regularly and after they would give me the probiotic. It seemed like it made me feel lots better internaly. After reading some information on them, I see that not every probiotic on the market actually has the live culture in it and does you no good.. Is there a certain brand that really does well. I would love to start it but dont want to end up with something that does not work..

I would search the site with no time limitations and you will find TONS on probiotics. I was recommended Jarrodophilus EPS from someone on this site, and I will never be without it! I have since recommended it to 3 other folks who find that it works well for them too. My DH and son are also taking it, and have seen a good improvement. Love the stuff!!

I take Flora-Q per my doctor's recommendation. It's helped me a great deal. You can get it on drugstor.com. or just google it and you'll find a ton of sites that sell it. I don't think it can be found in stores.

My probiotic is Bifidopholus Flora Force, which has 4 or 5 kinds of good bacteria. I get it at a natural health food store. I should know the brand, but I hardly look at the bottle anymore. I want to say it's Nature's ....(something). It's in the refrigerated section.

if not...how long after taking it do you have to wait before you can drink? I like my hot tea and it's hard to wait for it, so I usually take the probiotic with the hot tea.
Is this killing off the bacteria?
