Do you find that when you cheat a little ..You end up cheating a lot afterwards? For instance, when you eat one small thing that is wrong, you end up feeling wracked with guilt, and then eat everything you've been craving for the past couple of weeks? I think I really messed up this time... Now I have to start all over again. I make myself sick! I'm getting very frusterated with myself lately. Anyway, I was just wondering if I'm the only one who does this. I've had such a bad experience as a result of this (depressed, feeling ashamed/agitated, symptoms are currently at their worst, etc) I don't really want to put myself through this again.

Well, sounds like wracking yourself with guilt over "cheating" isn't a good strategy! Not adhering perfectly to the diet is pretty darn universal, and it's not worth punishing yourself over. (Your gut will do that for you.)

Do you think you could tell yourself to eat extra safe after a cheat instead? It's a good way of preventing attacks since your gut may be able to handle small challenges, but not big ones. Give up guilt and shame in favor of being nice to yourself and your belly!
