Ughh! Halloween Candy and my overindulgence

I swear I should NEVER buy Halloween candy till Oct 30th. Even then in the EVENING. I've been into the chocolate this week and am paying for it! Quinlan is fussier - must be the extra caffeine and sugar (breastfeeding).
It's so frustrating. If I could stick to ONE I'd be okay, but NO, it's a handful at a time.
Sigh. Had to vent.

I know how you feel - don't worry - you aren't alone!! I think women in general are guilty of this!! I have to do the same thing, no more buying candy until October 30. See you at Walmart at midnight! LOL

I was at Walmart today buying suckers, among other things. I won't eat the suckers which is why I bought them. The coupon didn't hurt either. I am hoping we don't get many before we leave for my the rehearsal for my sil wedding. We are planning on spending most of the day setting up for the reciption. Maybe we will miss most of them.

HanSolo! What happened to the McDonald's coupons? LOL Just kidding!

Believe it or not, I keep forgetting to get my candy. I've got tomorrow, or Friday afternoon to get it. So, I haven't gotten into any candy - YET!

Hope you're feeling better soon.

I completely understand! It's my time of the month, too, so that's a double whammy... I'm having trouble avoiding that big, tempting bowl of chocolate!!! I was able to keep it down to one little krackle bar, though, but I know how tough it is. Hang in there, there's only a couple of days left!

The hilarious thing is, Mags, I DID BUY burger king coupons! It didn't stop me from buying the chocolate with NO intention of handing it out.

I was wondering what kinds of candy are IBS safe in moderation? Once in a while I can eat some chocolate and sweetarts. I'm still learining about sweets and IBS. any input would be great.

Pretty much anything that is low-fat, doesn't contain dairy, and watch the high fructose cory syrup if that's a trigger for you. Think gummy bears, hard candies, twizzlers, etc.

I'm so glad you understand. Chocolate is the 5th food group in this house. Hugs.

Oh man.. I already never want to see candy again. I've been really good this whole week and haven't had any milk chocolate (one of my bad food weekness). Especally since I had a bad attack last weekend and I have my period next week for the first time in 3 months.

Welp, the receptionist was handing out those bite size candies.. and I took a hershey's bar and kitkat (snack size) - already feeling the effects and I still have 2 1/2 hrs left of work. Least I won't be tempted to sneak candy while passing it out tonight!
