McD's is the enemy.. they put so much crap in their food and it's so high in fat...you are better off to avoid it if you wanna feel good..

Here's a thread about what people find that's safe to eat at fast food restaurants: Fast Food. You might find some good ideas and tips there.

You could also check out the websites for various fast food restaurants to see nutrition and ingredient information. I think it's really hard to get a safe meal at a fast food restaurant; it seems like everything is either high in fat, HFCS, MSG, or contains whey. Sometimes ingredients change, so one month that sesame seed bun might be safe, but the next month it might contain dairy.

Both Burger King and Wendy's now carry baked potatoes. Ask for MARGARINE on the side.
Burger King has a yummy BK Veggie burger that it delicious. I have no problems eating it. I get that with a baked potato and I'm STUFFED!
McDonald's has their Oriental Chicken Salad which is safe for me, but you need a soluble fibre buffer to go with it and they don't really have anything. You could ask for a white hamburger bun I guess.

I eat fast food a lot. Here are some safe ones.

At Wendy's the grilled chicken sandwich
At Subway the roasted chicken sandwich
At KFC the roasted chicken wrap
Spaghetti and marinara sauce at Italian restautants
Chicken fajitas at Mexican restaurants
Lemon chicken and rice at Chinese restaurants

I know it's a lot of chicken but it's still good and doesn't limit me from going out to eat.

I think of all the fast foods, Subway has GOT to be the best. I'm anxious to give it a try.

plus they make the whole sub right there in front of you, so no anxiety about what they might've put in it or done to it back in the kitchen! lol

I have found the smoked turkey breast sub at Mr. Sub is fine and they even usually charge you less if you don't have cheese

mmm yes Mr Sub is my favourite, I actually prefer it over Subway now. I get the turkey breast on white bread.

i am not sure where abouts you live but here in Alberta we have some pretty good options for tummy friendly fast food..a few of my favorites are Badass Jacks- you can get wraps there with fillings of your choice such as noodles or rice, veggies and chicken..they also have asian noodle/rice boxes and asian soup bowls and you can also get subs there!!
http://www.badassjacks.com/menu.php#subs
also the Pita Pit...they have the most delicious wraps http://www.pitapit.com/?page=pt
Subway..Mr.Sub
also i have been seeing more and more of these little fast food greek places called "OPA!" i haven't gone and tried one out yet but i am sure there are lots of good choices that are safe for us IBSers
goodluck!
