Bobk,
sometimes i have air that comes up but it is nothing like a burp and barely makes any noise.
thank you...it has been so warm here lately ..we have barely gotten any snow..usually it is freezing here this time of year and lots of snow..
that picture was taken in the rocky mountains..a ski resort called Lake Louise..i have been up there twice this year and it was snowing the whole time...looks like i have to go to the mountains to see any snow 
according to a groundhog ...winter is over for us canadians. hehehe

I have always been the same way...I think a lot of my discomfort comes from not being able to release gas, for whatever reason...it can be really painful! It rarely comes out the other end either, but when it does, watch out for the smell..it's pretty gnarly.
