Just got put on the old no sugar, no yeast low gi diet. I know there was a thread that Linz started so wanted to find it. Tried searching but with no luck...

Also...is quinoa and quinoa flakes part of the low gi diet?

I remember seeing notes about it on the Recipe board a month or two, ago. I imagine that quinoa could be incorporated quite easily on a low G.I. diet. It's the grain highest in protein & also complete in amino acids. I know that Linz's diet was rather limited in terms of starchy food quota & fruit servings (i.e. sources of carbohydrate). I believe her reason for beginning this diet was hypoglycemia related.
Try searching under "hypoglycemia" perhaps?

Hope that's a little bit helpful!

Kate, IBS-D.

What a coincidence, today I was just looking through the book The GI Diet by Rick Gallop. I'm thinking of buying it and following the diet, or incorporating it into the IBS diet.
