hey ashley. that's really rough. (hey, be glad it exists at all, though, right?)

the thing it, it will probably upset your ibs, because of the hormone spike. but while that sucks, it's far from a reason to not go through with it. just do everything you can otherwise to keep your ibs in check - safe foods, maybe a heating pad, and anything you can do to ease the stress you're going through. it sounds tough, with no one to talk to - know that we're here for you. good luck! {{hugs}}

This will just be a blip. If you didn't feel you had to, you wouldn't be doing this, right?

*big huggles*

Been there (I think) and it's not fun.

Hi Ashley,

I have taken Plan B in the past. It didn't upset my IBS-D, but it did make me feel like I could throw up at any second. It passed after I took the 2nd pill though. You will be just fine. We are lucky that this product is available (maybe not everyone will agree with that, but that's how I feel). Good luck to you!

Kristi

of course ive got my DBF [darling boyfriend] who is at work right now feeling just awful about all this [i hate seeing him feeling so bad] but thats precisely why i posted. i knew everyone here would be supportive and it really means alot. i am thankful that plan B is out there but ill be more thankful when i see a negative test!

hehe i like your word huggles i had to order plan B this morning for obvious reasons and just needed some comfort. i took BC awhile ago and only for 3 months and was concerned this new EBC would mess w/my bowels [theyre doing so well now!!!] at least i think they are. ive been feeling pretty good. i just hope this wont put me back at the starting line of BTC diet. i really felt a connection w/my bod and the slow increase of the psyllium starting from 1 pill and going to 5. thats always been my unlucky # but in this case it might just be golden!

ive been stuck on this road too before--ironically i gave a new poster some advice about pregnancy not very long ago. how things do turn around. thanks for the *huggles* linz--it helped alot

Yes, the medicine worked well for me. I know it's hard not to worry, but you will be fine. The success rate is pretty high I think. You may not get as sick as I did from it, I think it varies from person to person. Hope you feel better soon!
