I started having horrible gas when I started taking the peppermint caps. Then again as I started the acacia. Should I just stick with it for a while to see if it goes away or should i stop taking both altogether???

All my problems began when I started eating soy! Soy actually caused ymptoms of colitis and it turned out I'm allergic to it. I've been told many people are sensitive to it.

I would stick with it if you're not having any other problems. If it doesn't go away, or if you have any other problems, you may want to consider alternatives.

See, I also bloated, and my BM's started becoming dry and hard. I was IBS-D -- so you'd think it would be heaven -- but they were hard, painful and well... it wasn't fun at all. That was at a low dose too. I was told I wasn't at a high enough dose -- but the higher I went -- the worse I got. I finally just said enough and quit. Some things just don't agree with certain people.

Having said that -- acacia does have benefits that other fibers don't - so give it a good chance. If it doesn't work out though -- don't worry about it. We're all made different - and what works great for some, doesn't work at all for others. Just try something else.
