The brand name of these teas are tetley. I have them here, and I will list the ingredients to be sure, they are caffiene free:

Camomile Lemon
Camomile licorice root, lemon flavour.

Cranberry
Hibiscus, apple pieces, lemongrass, lemon peel, orange peel, grapefruit peel, rosehip, cranberry pieces, cherry stalks, camomile, strawberry leaves, ginseng, cherry pieces.

Honey lemon ginseng green tea (I think this might be caffienated)
Pure green tea, lemon and honey flavours, ginseng root.

The green tea does have caffeine, but only a small amount. If you're stable and not particularly caffeine sensitive, it should be ok. Just remember to steep it for 90 seconds and no more!

Licorice root can be problematic. Everything else looks fine.

Many of my teas contain this...and sometimes I drink licorice root tea plain.

Oh, licorice root can be unsafe? I did not know that! I also have a habit of leaving the tea bag and the spoon in the cup while drinking tea -so I'm very glad I posted! I might stay away from green tea just in case. I'm not craving it or anything.
The cranberry one might be safe? I thought that one wouldn't be because of all the ..fruit. I have peppermint and camomile here anyway.
Thanks, AC!

Well, I wouldn't say "unsafe", but it is a laxative. So I wouldn't want to say it's perfectly safe and have some poor IBS-D person brew up a pot!

Hahahaha. Yes, I understand. I think it would be okay for me, since I am IBS-C. But as long as it doesn't cause spasms, I think I might give it a try. But when I am more stable.

Ooops, forgot to say that fruit teas are very very safe! The only iffy things about fruit in general are the fiber and the fructose - fruit tea is fiber-free, and you won't get much fructose from those little bitty pieces in the tea bags. I guess that if you are acid-sensitive (e.g., GERDS), a citrus tea might be questionable, but that's about it!
