Hello everyone. This is my first post here.

I could use a little help. For the past six months I have had ongoing diarrhea (watery to loose). I also have mild to moderate/severe pain above my navel that comes and goes. Sometimes I wake up not feeling well, sometimes it's right after I eat.

I had my gallbladder out in 97, and I took questran recently and it didn't help. I had a colonoscopy that was normal. No parasites. Nulev and Bentyl didn't help at all. Now the doctor has prescribed Librax. My celiac came back negative but my biopsy isn't back yet. The doctor said I had "some smoothing" in my duodenum.

I just wondered if this sounds familiar to anyone as I am very tired of being in pain and being sick.

Thanks

Welcome 4tomorrow! Yes I get pain around my belly button and sometimes it is so severe I am in the hospital for 4 days. Heathers site and get on the soluble diet. It helped me alot. After 3 days gradually add the insoluble foods and see what upsets your digestive system. Also read the part on the soluble supplements. It is very important to start that also with your diet. Doing this has taken the pain away except when I hit a food that causes cramps, gas, pain or D and C. Then I stop taking it. This helps you find out what foods you can handle and can't. Good luck and I hope you find out what causes your pain.
