Hello! And welcome!

Whole wheat, which contains the bran, can be a trigger because it is high in IF. This is why white bread or white flour is promoted in the diet - the bran has been removed, making it easier to digest. Heather covers this is her IBS Diet FAQs: Is Wheat Safe for IBS?

You should probably try drinking caffeine free tea since caffeine is a trigger. However, for people with GERD, the tannins in black and green teas can be a problem and should be avoided.

HTH!

Normal non-herbal tea is considered a trigger. The caffeine content isn't as bad as coffee, but like coffee, there are potentially-irritating tannins in tea that can cause a problem. If you're trying to stabilize, it's best avoided.

Wheat is NOT a trigger. Period. If you have problems with wheat, you have an entirely different health problem (celiac), not IBS.
