Sorry but I hate them all ) .
The only soy product I've found that I can ingest is soy milk.

maybe i'm just a wuss about my tofu tasting tofu-y. (but damned if i don't love plain soymilk - without the jack, thankyouverymuch.) but until mori-nu i could never get it to taste like it does in asian restaurants. but that's just personal taste. you'll have to be crazy for reasons other than tofu.

Actually, jaime--I totally completely must agree with you versus Bevrs. Two or so years ago, before my IBS got progressively worse I stocked up on Mori-Nu Lite (i.e. used to keep 3 packages in my cupboard most of the time) because I loved the tofu-ness of it & the texture/consistency. It was like eating custard or the bean form of eggs & so, so gentle/smooth. (We all know I'm a saucey type!) I always preferred the silken versus the extra firm tummy tugging brick firm stuff stuff. I think I know which brand (not by name, though) that Retrograde is referring to & it's pretty good stuff, too.
I used to always buy/prefer the natural soy milk (the stuff in Asian grocery stores) versus the sugary mainstream stuff.
Weird. But my body prefers the simple (although mock-meat/fish is fun!)
Thanks.

Yes, those are the ones--smart life or life line or something like that. Beef are gross--but their fake chicken is good. I think though, in general, fake chicken is better than fake beef. I like these Hemp burgers, but they're way off the map, fat-wise, for me.
If I take an enzyme, soy fiber doesn't rattle me. And it does take adjusting to if one is not in the habit of consuming it. Lignans are fun stuff! I've been doing more research about autoimmune disorders and PLANT PROTEIN/PLANT FOOD is emphasized as is GLA from evening primrose & blackcurrent oil. (I have active alopecia areata at the moment and am balder each day )

Actually, Mori-Nu is the smoothest tofu. It doesn't have that funny after-taste (I guess that's the best way to describe it--you know that taste you can't get out of your stomach from tofu residue or a "bad" fake meat product for a day or two?) That was my experience from my vegan days, in summary. Also, it's a great product, I suspect for vegan IBS'ers or IBS'ers in general (or vegans) on road-trips, travelling, in student housing situations. So, yes, jaime--I give you the tofu-taste test award.

I love yves vegan products. They have so many types of excellent fake meats. Everything from chicken strips, burgers, hot dogs, ham, salmi, pepperoni etc.
I also really love Litelife products. There's steak, steak strips, chicken strips, chicken cutlets.
Mountain burgers are really good too. It has a variety of veggies in it.
I've tried MoMo's fake tuna which is so good as well. I haven't been able to find it for a while at Safeway though.

Hi again
I forgot to mention I also eat so nice soy vegan yogort which comes in 4 flavors. Yum!
Tofutti cream cheese is really good. It comes in different flavors. They are all vegan except the salmon one. So I stay away from that one of course.
Tofutti cheese slices are so good as well. There are different kinds to choose from.
Have a good day.

I've been eating So Soya on this diet for many years and I think that it comes from Canada. I've only been able to find it online, never in a U.S. store, and I usually order about 20 boxes (of the strips) at a time. The "ground" pretty much tastes and looks just like TVP, so I don't waste my $ on that. I use the strips in just about every recipe that calls for chicken. Since it's just fat-free soy flour, it's a great substitute. I've reconstituted it in just about everything I can think of, but my favorite is soaking it in fat-free chicken broth. I've served these "chicken nuggets" to guests who thought it tasted much better than the real thing (quick and dirty recipe: soak in broth, drain broth, dump about 1/4 cup of flour in a Ziploc, add some season salt and pepper, shake it up, add the nuggets, shake it up, spray a pan with Pam, fry it up - voila! - I like to serve 'em with Annie's honey mustard for dipping). Anyway, here's the link to the site that I purchase it from: http://www.sosoyaplus.com/
