Is it safe to eat sugar free jello? I did a search and found zero results. Let me know I am hungry.

Thank you

Todd

Do a search again for just "Jello." You'll find a million posts. Heather says no; it's full of all kinds of stuff: web page

darn! Thanks Bev.

I have tried almost everything and nothing works for me. I cannot eat most of the stuff on Heather's list of solubles. I am sick of plain noodles, bananas, and sour dough bread.

Sugar free anything is not allowed because the sugar substitutes are hard to digest. Aspartame, saccharin and sorbitol need to be avoided.

"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!

In that case, I suppose one shouldn't eat skittles either.

How about: rice? sweet potatoes? mangoes? couscous? cooked carrots?

You don't want to eat just white bread and potatoes forever - that's something you do for a day or two when you're feeling truly horrid and can't face eating anything else. Well cooked SF vegetables and low-fat protein are safe foods, too, and you should get them in your diet!
