I didn't know which way to interpret it. The way I decided to interpret it is that she was okay with it, but not okay with wheat flour products, like her pancakes.

That's why it's confusing because both are IF...so she can eat IF Ezekiel bread but not IF wheat pancakes? It seems like she would be fine with both or have problems with both.

And like I mentioned, she isn't eating white bread as her SF...so I wonder what she is usuing to have a sandwich on Ezekiel bread???

I am thinking of trying this bread if it is safer than wheat or other IF and can be used alone without an SF food, in addition to it.

Deborah, if you're out there, chime in please!

Not sure if it helps BUT....just b/c you can tolerate one food that's high in IF, doesn't mean you can tolerate all high-IF foods! My IF tolerance varies alot from food to food.

This is the bread you use for sandwiches? Can you eat it without any SF with it? Just curious as to how much others can do.

Thanks so much!

It's the reply in the "toleration of acacia thread" that you
didn't bother to respond to, or ignored, whichever. -Bob

And I'm not sure where it is now. Sometimes posts go by without me seeing them. I don't do it intentionally, but it's impossible for me to see every post. Maybe you could bump it for me if I don't respond or something.

Honestly, I may miss many posts. Especially if I'm in the LR and log off right away before checking the Eating Board. The post will no longer be highlighted once I log off and I won't necessarily notice it the next time. Or if my boss walks in and I need to log off ASAP!

HTH explain things.

Yes I do eat this bread sometimes. I don't buy it very often because it costs about $5.00 - $6.00 a loaf in Canada. I seem to be okay with the bread, but someone else might not have the same luck.

I was surprised someone with IBS-D would not be eating white breads.

I am a "D" and I NEVER eat white bread, only whole wheat for this gal! White bread cramps me up. No thank you!

Do you eat some sort of SF beforehand?

Thanks!
